Why should I care as a customer?
From Consult, we do our best to protect our customers from potential fraud and being overcharged for the services being provided. To avoid being overcharged for a service, do check the items included and the invoice total before making full payment to the vendor.


How to protect myself?

For every job request on Consult, you will receive quotations when you book a vendor and an invoice upon job completion that you can review before agreeing to. Read the invoice carefully to ensure that all items are listed correctly with the respective details and prices before proceeding to make payment.


If you do not agree with the invoice, express your concerns to the vendor and request them to update it accordingly. If the vendor is not cooperating, do not hesitate to reach out to Consult support team via the app by clicking on the “Report” button on the invoice.


Important note:

Check invoice thoroughly before making payment

With our new itemised billing, you can easily check the invoice of items and the amount before making payment to the vendor. Making transactions completely or partially off Consult exposes both the service provider and customer to the risk of fraud. It also means customers are not covered by our Consult Protection and guarantee programs.
