Upfront payment is a type of payment made ahead of its normal schedule and the balance that is owed, if any, is paid once the service completed. Certain service type requires the customer to make an upfront payment during submitting the service request. Customers are insured with a refund of the upfront payment paid if the service provider fails to meet the agreed-upon arrangement for the service request that leads to the cancellation of the service request. Upfront Payment Refund Eligibility In order for us to refund your upfront payment, you will need to meet the following criteria: Your service request was not accepted by a vendor OR Your service request has been accepted by the vendor but The refund request was made prior to the scheduled service date; The request was not canceled due to unprepared arrangement i.e. Customer is not entitled to a refund if the cancellation was due to no working permit applied before the service date. Terms and Condition for Upfront Payment Refund Customers need to meet the Upfront Payment Refund Eligibility criteria to be eligible for the refund. Payment of upfront made successfully through Consult’s official payment gateway, ConsultPay. No cash payment upfront will be accepted for a refund. Any last-minute cancellations made on the scheduled service date or after are not eligible for a refund. Any refund requests made after the service request accepted by the vendor are subject to exceptions, should a customer encounter unavoidable circumstances such as emergencies, natural disasters, or unable to proceed with the completion of the service. The process of refunding the upfront payment shall only be initiated once the service request stated as canceled. Customers are subject to a Cancellation Fee if the cancellation did not meet the Upfront Payment Refund Eligibility. Customers may provide any evidence or documentation where may be deemed necessary or relevant (e.g. Notice of Water Disruption, Notice of Emergency, and Medical Slip). Under exceptional circumstances, Consult may offer, and you may accept, a promo code in place of a refund, up to 100% of the paid amount. |
